The Oozie Blues Show is made up of old school blues R & B musicians.
They play traditional blues, R&B & Jazz with versatility and energy. The band features; two guitars, saxophone, bass
and drums. Most of the band members sing. The bass player, Norm Pingrey, is the bandleader and the guitarist, Ray Brooks,
is the featured lead vocalist. Steve “Guitar” Guillory, Bobby “Hurricane” Spencer (saxophone) Robby
Thomson (drums) complete the line up. The band was formed in 2001 and has performed throughout Southern California ever since.
They have also performed dates in Northern California. Some of the band members travel to Europe once or twice a year to perform with
some great artist. They have recorded three self-produced CD’s including; their most recent release “Blues
School” which features all original material. Their music is danceable, their show is entertaining and a good time is
guaranteed to all. Papa J “Entertainer of the Year” at the (2010)
20th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards Special Appearance with "OOZIE BLUES on most shows.

Gina Graham is a native of Pennsylvania who was raised in Riverside, CA. She has a performing background as a dancer, singer and songwriter. She has performed onstage for over 20 years as a gospel
soloist, with various bands, including gospel recording artists such as O'landa Draper. She also opened for Motown recording artist Strate Vocalz. She is excited to be
a new addition to the Oozie Blues Band, and is honored to work with such a talented group of musicians.

We would like to introduce our new
drummer Robby Thompson. Robby is a native of Long Beach, California. His father, Robert H. Thompson, was a famous
guitarest. Robby started drumming at the age of 12. By the age of 13 he played in many of the local bands including
The Mod Squad, with Steve Guillory, PCH & many others. At 17 he joined Dick Dale and became a DelTone. After touring
in 1971-72 he joined the Clint Garvin Jazz Band from 1973-76. This gig put him through college. in 1976 Robby joined
TLC and went to Canada for a year. On his return Robby joined Excess Baggage and went back on the road. In
1978 Rob got married and rejoined The Garvin jazz group. In 1981 Robby went on the road with "Papa John Creach"
for the year. in 1982 Rob rejoined the Garvin Jazz band, In 1986 Rob put together his own band "The Time machine".
They worked together until 1999, playing everywhere and was the main backup band for many oldie bands through the Stan
Mayo agency- Backing the Drifters, Temptations, Coaster, Marveletts and many other acts from the 50's and
60's.
